Summary
When Lady Saren defies her father’s command to marry the vicious Lord Khasar, she is sealed in a tower with only her serving maid, Dashti, for company. In their cramped, dark space Dashti pours her thoughts into a daily journal while pitiless solitude engulfs them.
At first the girl is optimistic: they have food aplenty, candles for light, and even a visit from Lady Saren’s true love, Khan Tegus - though he can only call to them from outside their walls. But Saren is ill of mind, the outside world is changing, and their circumstances soon grow desperate. And even if they do escape, they must still face the eerie malice of Lord Khasar. To survive, Dashti and Saren forge a bond of devotion and deception that will test them to their limits.

Enchanting!😍✨
I loved it!
The book is basically a diary or 'book of thoughts' recording a Maid, Dashti, and her Lady Saren's days locked inside a tower for years.
The real adventure, however, begins when they escape the tower, and travel to the city of Lady Saren's betrothed, a handsome and gentle Lord, who has been in love with the Lady ever since their first conversations through the tower walls.
Except that it was Dashti, the maid, who spoke to the Lord all those nights(at her Lady's command), not Lady Saren, his true betrothed.
When they finally do get out of the tower and step back out under the Eternal Blue Sky, they find the world that they knew is gone. In its place is a threat that might just kill them.
Especially if someone finds out the truth of their deception.
The romance and characters were probably my favorite part of the book, though the plot and lyrical writing style were a clase second.
And the performance was Outstanding!!!!
Definitely recommend.✨

Beautiful voices and story
I thoroughly enjoyed both the story and the narration, very difficult to put down and disappointed that it has ended.

Lovely
Really lovely story. Even though the main character is locked in a tower, there's plenty of action with a traditional happy ever after ending.

Very fun audiobook
I couldn't stop hearing at it. It has a mixture of fantasy, religion and culture. I really enjoyed. By the way I am 12 years old.
